Six Maritime Signs Contract With Allied Universal

Six Maritime is proud to announce the signing of a national contract with Allied Universal as its exclusive Maritime Security provider. The contract was three years in the making with continued negotiations between the two companies. Six Maritime is a fast-growing service disabled veteran owned small business. Allied Universal is the fastest growing security company in North America. Recently the two companies were awarded back-to-back contracts with General Dynamics/NASSCO and BAE Systems in support of waterborne security requirements for U.S. National Assets under repair in the two yards. With its already three-year history of providing in port security for US Department of Commerce research vessels in the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) at San Diego’s 10th Avenue terminal, Six Maritime is the largest provider of maritime security services in the San Diego Region. The company has plans for expanding operations to other locations on each coast of the United States and Hawaii. Six Maritime was founded on the tenant of providing exceptional customer service while employing as many US veterans as possible, the new expansion has allowed Six Maritime to hire more than a dozen veterans in 2017 and the company is excited to provide even more opportunities for veterans in the coming years.
