Robert Schoultz


Bob Schoultz graduated from Stanford University in 1974 with a BA in Philosophy. He was commissioned an ensign in the United States Navy and entered Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training in Coronado California. He completed BUD/S training in the summer of 1975 then served as a Naval Special Warfare officer for the next 30 years, with numerous extended tours overseas in a wide variety of commands. He is fluent in German, and conversant in Spanish. Highlights of his naval career include serving as Operations Officer of Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Commanding the Naval Special Warfare Unit in Panama responsible for all the SEALS and Special Boat training and operations in Latin America, and Commanding Naval Special Warfare Group Two responsible for all the SEAL Teams on the East Coast of the United States and supporting all operations in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. His last assignment in the Navy was as the Director of Leader and Character Development at the US Naval Academy, from which he retired as a Captain on 1 July, 2005.

Daine Eisold


Daine Eisold is an expert in maritime security and intermodal cargo security operations with a deep history of management success in both the private and public sectors. He currently serves as the founder and CEO of CakeBoxx Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of innovative, high-security cargo shipping containers. Before founding CakeBoxx Technologies, he was the President and CEO of Cotecna, Inc., where he managed the global supply chain security line of business for the Cotecna Group, a trade facilitation industry leader based in Geneva, Switzerland. His significant public sector experience includes serving as General Manager of Cargo Security and Director of Maritime Security for the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the US Department of Homeland Security, where he was the senior executive responsible for development and implementation of air cargo, intermodal, hazmat and maritime security programs. He represented the TSA on multiple forums for transportation, supply chain and cargo security including IMO and the Technical Advisory Group to ISO working groupsTC8 N988- (ISO 28000 – Security Management Systems for the Supply Chain) and TC8 N987- (Best practices for custody in Supply chain security).

Jay Brixey


Mr. Brixey had over twenty-seven years experience as a Special Agent with the FBI. He was a member of the FBI’s Senior Executive Service, and when he retired, was serving as an Assistant Director, one of the highest executive positions within the FBI. Mr. Brixey investigated fraud, embezzlement and corruption matters; helped establish the FBI’s policies and procedures for its operational audit and compliance programs; served as Chairman of its Contract Review Board; and was a member of its Senior Career Board. Mr. Brixey was the primary financial advisor to three FBI Directors and was responsible for all aspects of the FBI’s budget formulation and presentations to Congress, fund control and financial reporting, payroll, procurement and contracting. Mr. Brixey has advised Attorneys General of the United States and has testified before Congress and in Federal Court. In 1996, Jay was selected to receive the Presidential Rank of Meritorious Executive Award. Jay retired from the FBI in January 1997 and immediately joined Deloitte. After 9/11/2001, Mr. Brixey served as Deloitte’s first Director of Security. In this position, he was responsible for disaster recovery / business continuity plans; physical security of office space; internal investigations; travel security; and liaison with federal and other law enforcement. Jay retired from Deloitte in March 2007.

Captain Konrad is a USCG licensed Master of Unlimited Tonnage. Since graduation from SUNY Maritime College, he has operated a variety of ships from ports around the world. He is co-founder of Unofficial Networks, Editor In Chief of gCaptain, and author of the book Fire On The Horizon. His online magazine and web forum for ship captains is one of the largest such websites in the world.
